Covid-19

If anyone in your group is experiencing covid like symptoms (runny nose, sore throat, fever, cough, loss of taste) or has been in contact with a confirmed case of covid-19 please be in touch to rebook your session.

Covid-19 Safety Plan

  • Physical distancing between myself and clients is easier to facilitate outdoors. With the use of different lenses I can be further away from my subjects. It is harder to achieve 1.5m of separation during indoor studio shoots and so once covid is in the community I will be wearing a mask during studio sessions for the protection of my clients. According to current Tasmanian guidelines the studio can accomodate ten people and studio shoots are already capped at five people.

  • As a health worker it is mandated for me to be up to date with Covid-19 vaccination. I had my booster (third dose) in late November.

As a clinician I encourage all of my patients, particularly pregnant patients to be vaccinated. In my medical workplace we have many patients who are a part of this vulnerable cohort of women and after discussions with the Practice Owner I have decided to mandate vaccination for my photography clients aged over 12. This is for the protection of my other photography clients as well as for the protection of my medical workplace.

  • I have placed hand sanitiser at the studio entrance and encourage all clients to wash their hands prior to attending the shoot.

  • The studio will be cleaned before and after each shoot and styling consultation.

All garments from client closet will be steamed before and after use. In addition there will now be a limit (previously unlimited) to the number of items that can be tried on during a styling session. The maximum will be 4.

Any other items brought to shoots eg drinking cups will be disinfected before and after your session.

  • I have invested in a medical grade air purifier approved by the Melbourne University for use in rooms up to 34 square metres. Until this arrives I will be increasing ventilation by opening doors and windows.

  • All clients experiencing possible covid-19 symptoms (sore throat, cough, fever, runny nose) are advised to reach out and rebook their shoot, and arrange for covid-19 testing.

  • I have organised for a QR code for the studio for indoor shoots and styling consultations so that clients can check in. All styling consults and shoots are by appointment and in the event that I am involved in a covid-19 exposure I will have records of any physical client contact and will not hesitate to inform any impacted clients.n
